The 7^th Dongguan China Shoes . China Shoetec (Spring 2008) will be held at Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Centre (Houjie, Dongguan) from 16 to 18 April 2008.  The trade fair features packed concurrent activities and numerous highlights.

Fashion Show & “Selective Salon”

Prestigious footwear manufacturers such as Goddess (HK) Footwear Co., Ltd., Vitamin Industries Limited, ICSA, Aiminer, Camphort Footwear, Hengtai Footwear, etc, will be spotted on the grounds to launch high-quality fashion shows and new shoes release activities.  Several hundred types of shoes from famous footwear brands such as Betta, Vitamin, LORENA, Aiminer and Sis star will be presented.  In pursuit of better stage performance and on-site effect, the organizers have specially invited renowned Chinese professional model company – NSR Model to participate in the show.  During the fashion show, dedicated staff will make presentations about design concepts, ideas, fashion philosophies of exhibited footwear. Meanwhile, “Selective Salon” will be set up to showcase the works of famous designers from Hong Kong and PR China, which is a splendid portfolio you can’t miss.

Series of Professional Seminars

The organizers have elaborately arranged more than 10 professional seminars and specially invited famous experts and scholars from home and abroad to join the discussion with participating enterprises on hot industry issues. Mr. Massimo Donda, President of Federcalzature (Italian Shoe Trade Federation), and Mr. Peter Mangione, President of the Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America, will respectively make presentations on the establishment of footwear brand and sourcing and distribution status of global footwear industry. Under the current condition that EU is gradually tightening its anti-dumping measures, the fair organizers have specially invited Mr. Arnaud Dyduck, Assistant General Manager of CTC Asia Ltd., to discuss about REACH and finished products (REACH refers to the abbreviation of Regulations on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals implemented by EU on June 2007) to help Chinese enterprises in understanding of new domestic and foreign laws & regulations, foreign business and exploration of export market. Ms. Xiaoxia Qi, Administrative Vice Director of National Center for Footwear Standardization and Senior Engineer of National Center for Footwear Quality Supervision, will speak on “Guidance on Export Techniques for Footwear” to let concerned enterprises have a more thorough understanding of technical requirements of exported footwear. Mr. Huaidao Yan, Vice President of China Leather and Footwear Industrial Research Institute will make speech on new national standards that just published (leather shoes, leather sandals, children’s leather shoes, causal and athletic footwear).  Ms. Christine Dai from Bai Chun Dao Consultants and managers of retailing department store from Eastern and Northern China will discuss on the exploration of domestic markets. GDS, the world No.1 shoes event, and GLS, the world No.1 event on leather products and relevant products, has always been the focus of massive enterprises and media. Thus, the fair organizers have specially invited GDS and GLS organizer from Germany to make an on-site presentation on the latest information and exhibiting & visiting information of GDS and GLS.

“Finished Shoes Zone”, “Shoetec-Machinery Zone” and “Shoetec-Material Zone” setting up at the Show

China Shoes   China Shoetec  has always been pursuing a “premier one-stop footwear sourcing platform” ideology. Thus, the exhibition has specially set up “Finished Shoes Zone”, “Shoetec-Machinery Zone” and “Shoetec- Material Zone”, which will provide more convenient & effectiveness for buyers’ visit & sourcing. In the “Finished Shoes Zone”, China Chamber of Commerce for I/E of Light Industrial Products and Art-Crafts (CCCLA), Hong Kong Footwear Association and Taiwan Footwear Manufacturers Association will organize their member companies to exhibit at the show and to display the latest footwear; in the “Shoetec-Material Zone”, Dongguan Shoe Machinery Association will bring more than 20 of its member companies to join the show. They will not only share the latest shoes-making technologies and display their all-rounded equipments; numerous shoe accessories, components, and leather material exhibitors will be presented in the “Shoetec-Material Zone”.
